On July 20, Jake Paul probably faces the toughest fight of his professional career. The 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer will take on the youngest heavyweight champion in history, Mike Tyson, at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. KSI, it appears, has a take on the matter. He, just like many other boxing fans, has highlighted the age difference between the two fighters, thereby questioning Jake Paul’s choice of fighting older opponents.
However, there is a twist in the tale. Especially since what he once believed regarding a fight with Mike Tyson sounds divergent from what he feels could actually happen in the July 20 fight. Early in the morning today, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) shared footage of the British YouTuber-turned-boxer, pointing out the hypocrisy in the internet sensation’s recent statement about Paul’s upcoming fight,

Sharing a few details of the upcoming fight, the MVP post read, “KSI has changed his tone on Mike Tyson.” The video has been split into two segments. The first one has old footage of KSI speaking at the ‘Jonathan Ross Show’. The British YouTuber-turned-boxer was explaining how he ventured into the sport. Just when he was talking about the Logan Paul fight, one of the guests, actor-comedian Jack Whitehall, asked whether he had called out Mike Tyson.

Replying in the affirmative, KSI said that it happened in an inebriated state. He believed that he could take on Mike Tyson, who is not only old but also must have gone soft over the years. But later, the next day, when he got up, he understood the folly and retracted.
“I thought, hey, I could take on Mike Tyson; you know what he’s what 40, 50, 60, like he’s slow, he you know he’s not tough. I’ve got this, and then I you know, woke up the next day and realized the mistake…” said KSI.
Now it only needs a cursory review against what he said in the latest episode of Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’.
Jake Paul-Mike Tyson: Pivoting Perspectives
Slamming ‘The Problem Child’s’ upcoming fight against the 57-year-old Mike Tyson, KSI said, “I think it’s super sad.” He’s unable to fathom on what ground Jake Paul took up the fight. If Paul knocks out Tyson, the ‘Problem Child’ will secure a win over an “Old Age Person”, the ‘Nightmare’ claimed. Anyhow, in his last two fights, he dropped much older fighters in the likes of Ryan Bourland, and Andre August. KSI said, “I think it’s super sad. I don’t know why Jake took it’s a loose loose… literally he knocks out Mike Tyson, and he’s beaten what an OAP (old age Person).”
Though they started out as ring opponents, KSI and Logan Paul, aside from their business partnership, share an excellent rapport. But only if the same could have been the case with the younger brother, Jake Paul.
Even Dana White reportedly criticized the fight, given the age difference between the two belligerents. He said,” ….I love Mike Tyson personally, as a friend, and he’s one of my favorite athletes of all time… I don’t like to see guys fighting—a 31-year age difference—you guys know what I think of that stuff.”

As of now, both sides of the argument appear steadfast in maintaining their positions. No one questions Mike Tyson’s boxing skills. However, it is also a bitter truth that age takes a toll on everyone’s life. So whether a 57-year-old former heavyweight champion can turn the tables on a boxer who is thirty years his junior, time alone will tell.
