Muhammad Ali’s Grandson Takes a Cheeky Dig at Jake Paul for Tommy Fury Loss

Tommy Fury emerged as the victor after the high-anticipated showdown with his long-time rival Jake Paul by a split decision. Paul gave him a tough fight, but the young Fury managed to break ‘The Problem Child’s’ unbeaten record. Recently, Muhammad Ali‘s grandson, Nico Ali Walsh, shared an Instagram story to express his appreciation for Tommy Fury’s victory.

Nico Ali Walsh, himself, booked the eighth consecutive victory of his career on Feb 3rd against Eduardo Ayala. He won the fight by a unanimous decision. Walsh has not lost a single boxing match in his professional career, yet. Although many thought he’d lose the bout, Nico Ali Walsh managed to prove doubters wrong. Walsh seems to be improving every time he steps into the ring. It is safe to say that he is a star in the making. More so like Tommy Fury himself.

Muhammad Ali’s grandson teases Jake Paul

Walsh shared a post, which was uploaded to Top Rank Boxing’s Instagram account. In the clip, Walsh gives Fury his due wishes for his accomplishment against ‘The Problem Child’. The post had a photo of the herculean ‘TNT’ being declared the winner of the fight. And the bottom space had his perfect 9-0 score flaunting vibrantly on the post.

Walsh shared the post with a caption on his Story that read, “Boxers Know How to BOX…😂😂”. This caption is definitely a subtle, yet cheeky, dig at Jake Paul’s attempt on how he wanted to prove his mettle against a pure-bred boxer, but he fell short.

Nico Ali Walsh wasn’t surprised by the outcome of the fight

Following the bout, Walsh also tweeted how he was not surprised at all by the result. Notably, the young Fury fulfilled Muhammad Ali’s grandson’s expectations. And it could be seen that Walsh regards Tommy Fury as a king, which he indicated by using the ‘crown’ emoji.

Nico Ali Walsh loves to talk about the achievements of other fighters and celebrate the victories of his fellow boxers. And this case is nothing different. Moreover, ‘The Truth’ was one of the biggest events of this month.
