Former WBC and WIBA women’s super middleweight champion Laila Ali might have been the queen in the ring, but her miniature golf game is a little weak. The daughter of the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali recently shared a clip on social media from her time in Bermuda, where she tried her luck with a golf club but failed.
‘She Bee Stingin’ retired from the sport of boxing back in 2007 after defeating Gwendolyn O’Neil from Guyana at the Emperors Palace in Kempton Park, South Africa. Since then, she has spent most of her time outside the ring with her beautiful family. One of those moments was on full display in the video she shared on Instagram today.

Laila Ali: Boxing legend showcases her playful side
Earlier today, the women’s boxing legend delighted her fans by sharing a playful and candid clip from a family outing. In the caption, she wrote, “That time I was in Bermuda with my family, took the kids miniature golfing, and decided to jump in and talk smack…”
The video shows Ali attempting to sink a putt during a game of miniature golf. Despite her confidence and competitive spirit, the golf ball slid just past the hole. Embracing the humor of the moment, she added in the caption, “Every hole had the same result.”
She also revealed her lack of experience in the sport, writing, “FYI, the only sport I’ve ever played is boxing! Thanks for the commentary @nikitabda.”

It’s not every day you get to see a champion known for her strength and precision in the ring tackle something as whimsical as miniature golf—and fans clearly loved every moment of it.

‘She Bee’ asked to stick to boxing
It’s been over a decade since Ali appeared in the ring, but fans clearly are delighted to see her outside of it. One user felt Ali won despite losing. “😂😂😂 But [you] look fabulous while missing. I call that WINNING! 🙌🏽,” the user commented. Interestingly, despite losing on the miniature golf course, Ali never lost a fight in the ring.
Another user branded the clip a historical moment. “Historical moment..the 1st golf ball to suffer a Concussion after being hit by @thereallailaali 🥊😂,” the user wrote. Notably, Ali had an impressive 87.5% knockout ratio, with 21 of her wins out of 24 coming through knockouts. So, it’s safe to say that the golf ball might just have had a concussion.
