Josie Harris and Floyd Mayweather’s Tumultuous Relationship
Josie Harris, the ex-girlfriend of boxer Floyd Mayweather and mother to three of his children, was found dead on March 11 at the age of 40. She had been in a relationship with Mayweather from 1995 to 2010. During this time, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail for domestic violence charges against her. At the time of her death, Harris and Mayweather were still embroiled in a legal battle after she had filed a $20 million defamation lawsuit against him in 2015.
An autopsy revealed that Harris had died of an accidental drug overdose caused by a mix of fentanyl and alprazolam. She had been found dead in her car outside her Valencia, CA home.
