On Sunday, a flight attendant removed former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov from a flight in the US in an unfortunate incident. The incident occurred after ‘The Eagle’ got into an argument with a crew member over his seating in the emergency exit row.

The incident has left the fans enraged and it has created quite a stir on social media. Fans have blamed the airlines and have criticized the way the flight attendants handled the situation. Former model and ring girl and now a crossover lightweight boxer, Carla Jade also showed her disbelief over the incident and had only one thing to say about it.

Misfits star outraged

Killa Carla Jade took to her ‘X’ and reposted the video of Khabib Nurmagomedov getting removed from the plane. She commented on the post, stating, “Outrageous.” It looks like the 2-0 boxer wasn’t able to wrap her head around the incident and was still in disbelief over the treatment.

Jade will face Melanie Shah on January 18, 2025, on MisFits & DAZN: X Series 20, just one day before the 29-0 UFC fighter returns to the octagon at UFC 311 on January 19. Though the former UFC lightweight champion is not making his MMA comeback, he will return to the corner of his protege, Islam Makhachev, and his cousin Umar Nurmagomedov for the event.

However, this incident has definitely inconvenienced the former lightweight champion’s journey and he would like to forget the incident altogether. Not only Jade, but even fans are in utter disbelief at the incident. Let’s take a look at what actually went down.

Khabib Nurmagomedov treated unfairly?

The footage revealed ‘The Eagle’ engrossed in a disagreement with one of the flight crew members on a plane reportedly heading to Los Angeles from Las Vegas. Nurmagomedov was seated in a window seat beside another member of his entourage. The footage revealed him having a heated argument with the crew member over the emergency exit.

According to people in the plane, the 36-year-old was sitting in the emergency exit row, and before takeoff, the flight attendant asked him if he spoke English. This is a normal protocol on the flight as it allows the flight crew to determine whether the person will be able to assist his co-passengers in case of an emergency and in this case, the hostess felt otherwise.

It seemed like the hostess felt that Khabib Nurmagomedov wouldn’t be able to assist his co-passengers due to his accent and asked him to either shift his seat or he would be escorted out of the flight. “Okay, so what we’re gonna do is we either gonna have you switch your seats, cause my flight attendants are not allowing you to sit in the exit row or you’re gonna have to get off this plane,” stated a supervisor who was called by the plane crew.

The argument did not sit well with ‘The Eagle’ as he mentioned how he had fully complied with the flight crew throughout the onboarding process. “It’s not fair. When I was in check-in, they asked me do I know English… and I say yes. Then why you guys do this?” grunted an irritated Nurmagomedov.

However, his plea remained unheard as security was soon called in and was asked to deplane. An evidently irritated Khabib Nurmagomedov left the plane alongside his friend without creating much of a commotion.
