Amir J Tyson took to Instagram to share the news of West signing an agreement with Adidas to sell Yeezys. This news comes after Adidas terminated its partnership with Kanye West over “hate speech”, Eventually stripping the rapper of his billionaire status.

According to the new agreement, Adidas will only sell the unsold inventory of Yeezys worth $500 million set for 2023. The agreement does not focus on introducing new clothing or shoe designs and is just in place to sell the inventory planned for 2023.

Back in 2022, Kanye west did a lot of unthinkable things. At a private Paris Fashion Week event hosted by West, he was photographed wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt, leading to much criticism for people worldwide. Not long after this fiasco, West took to his social media platform to share some outrageous anti-semitic comments. These comments led to the Anti-defamation League criticizing West for alleged “hate speech.”

Post these controversies, many brands and celebrities cut ties with West and any entities associated with him. Notably, Vogue decided to cut its ties with the rapper. Many known sports stars, including Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown, left Donda sports, an agency run by West himself. Even Gap removed all Adidas Yeezys from their stores after Ye’s anti-semitic comments.
