Reports surrounding the potential Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson fight in early 2022 have sent the whole combat world into a frenzy. People have already chimed in to talk about various factors of the bout along with the financial numbers it could generate.

It was bizarre to comprehend how Logan Paul bagged a shot against Mike Tyson. But based on the current trends of exhibition fights, the matchup looked viable. Paul’s recent performance against Floyd Mayweather in June also cemented his ground among the elites. But Tyson vs Paul still seemed awkward to several traditional fans. And per the latest findings, the matchup may not happen ever.
Although Mike Tyson had desired to re-appear in action after facing Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, he hasn’t acted on it. Despite grabbing call-outs from Evander Holyfield and Logan Paul, ‘Iron’ didn’t offer himself opposite any of them. Now, the current reports cite him to remain busy with outer-ring stunts.

Locking horns with ‘Iron’ Mike wouldn’t have been less than grabbing gold for Logan Paul. He could have become the only fighter to have faced both- Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson. But it may not be happening.
Logan Paul doesn’t seem interested in becoming a professional boxer like his brother, Jake Paul. He can continue facing social media celebrities and veteran boxers in-ring. While Tyson may not be the one, ‘The Maverick’ can still rope in some big names. A few months back, he was touted to face UFC legend Anderson Silva in a high-octane fight.
