On July 20th, inside the 80,000-seat capacity AT&T Stadium, Jake Paul will take on Mike Tyson. In his second professional fight against Nate Robinson, ‘The Problem Child’ fought on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr., and now Paul is excited to find out if he can “beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons,” ‘Iron’ Mike. However, the Texas Commission has yet to confirm the nature of the fight!
While Jake Paul thinks his encounter with Tyson will be the fight of a lifetime, Paul’s manager Nakisa Bidarin expects the match to be the most-watched event in history. On the other hand, Tyson, 57, hopes to “finish” ‘The Problem Child’. At this, although there is a huge chance that the boxing match will be an exhibition, there were reports that it could be treated as a professional fight with special rules.
Meanwhile, while Mike Tyson impressed the fans with his latest workout videos, Jake Paul surprised the boxing world when he trained with Olympic athletes. For his age, Paul looked sharp and hungry. Besides promising to outwork ‘Iron Mike’, Jake even declared, “I’m coming for you, Mike.”

On that note, since Mike Tyson is 30 years older than Jake Paul, several people also showed concern about Mike’s health. For example, Stephen A. Smith highlighted that Tyson was multiple times spotted with a cane in his hand. On the other hand, speculating on the risks involved, Oscar De La Hoya said the fight could be dangerous for Tyson’s legacy. Hence, as a lot is on the line for ‘Iron’ Mike, some people expected special rules to regulate Tyson vs. Jake.

Soon, in a reply to Erik Magraken, Damon Martin, editor at MMA Fighting, revealed what he knew about the upcoming fight. “Unless something changed in the past two weeks, that hasn’t been determined yet. Commission told me there’s been an application for an event but nothing beyond that,” wrote Martin.
