Is Mike Tyson risking his legendary status by stepping into the ring with Jake Paul?

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson has all the traction and buzz and Netflix has used every trick under its sleeves and emptied their creative tank to promote it. Only one thing was left and they put it out too, quite literally. Netflix has now plastered a shattered billboard with some hanging pieces and a giant red glove that looks like it broke through it. The media giant expected praise for their out-of-box thinking but fans’ views didn’t align with it.

Notably, Paul vs. Tyson is set to happen on November 15 at AT&T Arena and will be streamed live, free of cost, across the world on Netflix. The only condition is that you are a Netflix subscriber. The streaming company has giant plans to promote it, and it has done it right after dropping a new trailer. But it missed the mark with its billboard trick.

A fan lauded the billboard but drew a parallel in case of an uneventful fight. They declared, “Nice billboard. It will be a shame when the billboard turns out to be better than the fight mind you.” There is a gulf of skills between the two fighters, as Tyson, 58, is three decades older than Paul, 27, but has reigned supreme at the heavyweight division back in his heydays.

A user hypothesized that the result could be a draw for Paul vs. Tyson to save ‘Iron Mike’ from embarrassment. They declared, “This fight is a joke wouldn’t be surprised if they agree to draw so it’s less embarrassing for Mike.” Notably, Paul vs. Tyson will be fought under the professional rules and the result will reflect in their record and have a lasting impact on their legacy. However, the odds are stacked against Tyson, who has ring rust and health issues working against him.

Someone hoped for an engaging and exciting fight. They admitted, “So pumped. Hope its a brawl.” Both Paul and Tyson have a fan-friendly and aggressive style and fans could expect action from get-go. Interestingly, both have predicted a knockout victory for themselves.

A comment argued that Tyson’s legacy was in jeopardy. The comment read, “Tyson is ruining his legacy.” Tyson, at 50-6, bowed out of boxing after a string of unfavorable results, and adding another loss to his otherwise glorious career, including his youngest-ever world champion accolade, would dent his accomplishments.

Lastly, a fan contested that a billboard for Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder 2 was better compared to the Paul vs. Tyson one. They claimed, “Tyson Fury’s billboard for wilder 2 was better.” The rematch between Fury and Wilder panned out after a closely contested first match, which ended in a split draw. But the rematch unfolded differently, as Fury dominated the fighter and Wilder’s corner threw in the towel after he dropped to the floor twice.
