Mike Tyson Unpleased by Media for Putting Him in a “Ridiculous” Situation Over Alleged Jamie Foxx Health Scare Claims

In a recent episode of Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast, the 56-year-old was joined by Sports TV Personality Stephen A . Smith. On the podcast, the former heavyweight champion conveyed his disapproval of the claims made using his name about Jamie Foxx’s health and diagnosis. Tyson took a dig at the media for using his name without his conscience. Smith himself talked about the reason he believes this happens and talked about the issue from a different perspective.

Tyson struck the conversation by sharing the time when his wife came across a news piece claiming that Tyson revealed that Foxx is “recovering from a stroke.” He further added, “I never said anything.” It seems like this revelation shocked the former champion as he seemed in disbelief of the claim.

In disapproval of the claim, Tyson said, “What the F**k.” The 56-year-old further talked about how the media believes they can put someone’s name to make their claims. He said, “They think that they can put your name up. Mike said this guy Jamie had a stroke.”

Smith pitched in on the conversation, talking about the reason he believes this happens with the media. Smith said, “That’s ridiculous. But those are a lot of times in today’s day and age. They are not journalists. They are bloggers. They’re people with their own website.“ Tyson agreed with Smith and said that these bloggers have their own agendas. Not long ago, Tyson talked about Foxx’s role in his biopic.
