None of the boxers in the old boxing era could match the flamboyancy level of Mike Tyson. Back then, no one had attained such a vast fan following before he did. With time, he only improved and eventually became boxing’s biggest star.
Everyone knows Tyson’s life in, and outside the ring was full of trials and controversies. But as he grew older, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ drew some positive lessons out of it. Moving further, he now wishes to pass on those vital life lessons to the upcoming boxing stars.
That said, in his recent Hotboxin’ podcast, ‘Iron’ Mike shared some piece of advice to the super-featherweight stalwart Shakur Stevenson.

He said, “Don’t be giving all your money to the f***ing girls, man! Alright, stop! Stop giving it to the girls, give it to your family.”
In his illustrious boxing career, Tyson spent millions on things that didn’t really add value to his life. ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ was a fan of plush mansions, a fleet of cars and so much more. That said, he ended up spending an excessive amount of money on these and went from riches to rags.
At one stage in 2003, ‘Iron’ Mike even filed for bankruptcy, as he had lost out on all the hard-earned money.
Taking notes from the same, Tyson now wants to pass those teachings to boxers who may enjoy a stellar career in the sport. With paramount paychecks, there are tremendous responsibilities that arrive in a fighter’s life. And ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ wants Stevenson to know those responsibilities.
