Mike Tyson believes Canelo Alvarez will vanquish Billy Joe Saunders in their upcoming super-middleweight title clash. He admits that WBO 168 lbs champion Billy Joe Saunders is a prolific boxer, and an unbeaten world champion. However, akin to several fans, Tyson still favors Canelo Alvarez.
The newly crowned WBC, WBA, and Ring 168 lbs champion Canelo Alvarez, is a four-division champion who is aiming to unify the titles at 168. That said, he will have to surpass Billy Joe Saunders on May 8 to add the WBO title on his shoulders.
Although Saunders has his fair chances of winning the fight, Mike Tyson predicted that he would lose in the first six minutes. In a quick conversation with ES News, ‘Iron’ Mike shed his opinion on the fight.

Both Alvarez and Saunders have been active in recent times with sensational wins under their name. 30-0 as a pro, Saunders bagged his last win against Martin Murray in December. While it ended his year-long inactivity, it also gave him some much-needed fight-time and experience ahead of the Alvarez bout.
Meanwhile, Canelo Alvarez has also fought frequently. He returned against Callum Smith for the super-middleweight titles in December. After winning, he defended the belts against Avni Yildirim in February. Now, he will look forward to expanding his reign by going after the WBO strap.
