Mike Tyson, back in the 1990s, became an established star of boxing. No one before him stirred the sport this way, and with his slick performances, Tyson brought in enough eyeballs to make boxing one of the most loved sports on the planet. With that, he even kept making his bonds in the entertainment vertical, thus making a considerable amount of friends there.
But one of his friendships bloomed over everything. We’re talking about Tyson’s bond with legendary rapper Tupac Shakur, which did rounds in the old era. But how did these two meet? Was there a mutual friend between the two?
In his exclusive interaction with Alabama Crimson Tide, Tyson himself shed some light on how he met Shakur.

“I met Tupac one day. It was on a sunset and I think it was the palace on sunset, palladium on sunset, and Magic Johnson had a party or something.”
“He went back and came back with like a hundred guys. I said ya’ll together, that you’re by yourself I said so let them go into the back so they went through the back and somehow they got the mic from the emcee and they started rhyming and it was Tupac. And they introduced me to, but they said he’s going to be a big star one day,” said Tyson.

After the party concluded, Shakur came to visit Tyson, and the two became the greatest of friends.
