Should Mike Tyson fight Jake Paul, given his health scare of late? Most fans think it’s a bad idea! However, that didn’t stop the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ from sending a scathing warning to ‘The Problem Child’ ahead of their rescheduled fight on November 15.

Tyson, 57, suffered a medical emergency on Miami to Los Angeles bound flight, which was later revealed to be an ulcer flareup. While Tyson remained confident, he could still beat Paul, the backlash from the community seems to have prompted the organizers to push the fight later in the year. Despite that, Tyson continues to create threatening videos, promoting the fight.

Hours earlier, Mike Tyson turned to his Instagram account to share the clip in question, captioning the post, “Jake’s new wake date. Nov. 15th”. Meanwhile, in the clip, Tyson can be heard saying, “Different date same fate. I’m my knockout Jake Paul”. This clip was later picked up by Fight Hub Tv and shared on YouTube!

Originally scheduled for July 20 at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas, Most Valuable Promotions have managed to keep the same venue for the postponed fight. The former world champion last entered the ring against Roy Jones Jr. In 2020 for an exhibition bout, which was declared a draw, but many suggest Tyson was the clear winner.

However, his upcoming bout is a professional one, sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations, with modified rules that seem to favor Tyson more. Despite that, fans remain unconvinced by Tyson’s ability to fight after his health scare on the plane.

Fan urges ‘Iron’ Mike to pull out

Some people were never completely onboard with the fight to begin with, but Tyson’s health scare seems to have tipped the fans over the edge. One user pleaded with Tyson to cancel the fight altogether. The user wrote, “Please don’t do this mike”. However, as things are, Tyson seems adamant about fighting come November 15. This may be partly due to the fact that, despite earning millions throughout his career, he went bankrupt in the early 2000s. Now, he is eager to maximize his earnings.

The next user echoed the same sentiment, but was slightly harsher, as he explained it in the comment section. The user commented, “You old mike [sit] down and enjoy life there is no time left to this s**t”. However, once Mike sets his mind to something with confidence, it’s nearly impossible to sway his determination.

Another user pointed out how Tyson’s voice has changed over the years because of his old age. “Mike is getting too old even his voice is changing”, the user remarked. However, if Tyson’s hands could do the talking, that would be enough.

While others were against Tyson fighting Jake Paul, this user came to defend Tyson’s decision. The user wrote, “There some senior citizens that will beat your ass regardless of how old you are it just depends on your condition and skill set”. While this user isn’t wrong, Jake Paul is not a boxer to be scoffed at. Time and time again, he has proved he can box like an expert.

Even this user thought Tyson looked good in the clip shared on social media. “Bro looks sharp as f**k Yall remember the hangover”, the user wrote. But it’s one thing to look good outside the ring than inside.

As it turns out, all the hype for the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight has turned into concerns among fans. However, the money seems too good to say no to, so the fight may transpire whether people like it or not. Still, it would be interesting to see what kind of numbers this Netflix exclusive event manages to produce when there is so much backlash about the fight. Do you think Mike Tyson should go ahead with the fight?
