Can Jake Paul withstand the legendary power of Mike Tyson, or is he in over his head?

A short clip of Mike Tyson knocking down a sparring partner has been gaining considerable traction. Many would have started wondering if a similar fate awaits the ‘Problem Child’. Now it would be naive to think whether Jake Paul had seen the video or not. Even if he hasn’t, the point is, should that be a matter of concern? For a fighter who has built a formidable resume in crossover boxing, a normal stream of thoughts may suggest that it would be an easy-peasy for ‘The Problem Child’.

But remember, we’re talking about ‘The Mike Tyson’. Even at 58, the former heavyweight champion doesn’t seem to have lost his edge. So the way Paul described his coming across the Tyson sparring would have surely left many amused. Whether it was a sign of stress building up or Paul just playing it cool, it might come across a bit confusing to some.

In the latest episode of ‘BS w/ Jake Paul’, Paul and the team had invited Stipe Miocic. But it took some time before the MMA legend could join the talks. Meanwhile, a conversation between ‘Kill Jasper’ and Paul continued.

Some ten minutes after the show started, Jasper checked for the topics to be taken for discussion. “Should we talk about all the stuff that’s on this run of show?” he said. Paul insisted that they would pick something critical. Now smiling, his friend then probed whether he preferred talking about something related to ‘the current events’ of his life.

Sounding a bit pesky, ‘The Problem Child’ quipped that it was possible to do so. But the matter is whether the subject interests anyone. They might as well throw some crappy poser. For instance, checking with him whether he saw the latest sparring video of Mike Tyson.

Have an interesting take?

His iteration smelled of irritation: ” “Oh Jake, did you see Mike Tyson dropping his partner?” Yeah, I f**king saw it. No, I saw it, and I don’t give a f**k. Sure, he’s looking good. Sure, he’s looking all that. Oh, he’s dropping people. He’s fast, so the f**k am. People want the truth.” Jasper immediately responded, “I don’t think people want you to kill Mike Tyson.

A throwback to prime-time Mike Tyson

‘The Problem Child’s reaction to a rather innocuous query might raise a few eyebrows. However, it’s easy to leap to conclusions. The 27-year-old has been in the ring for some time now. He is receiving the best training one could imagine. Yes, it sounds crazy that anyone could even dream of getting in the ring against Mike Tyson, even the one out of his prime. But Jake Paul definitely knows what he is getting into and is likely prepared mentally and physically for the challenge.
