At this point, a heavyweight showdown between Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua can be extremely alluring. Both the former champions have lost their respective world titles and are no longer invincible in the looming heavyweight division.

Once the undefeated world champions, they have now been vulnerable inside the ring in two of their biggest respective bouts. That said, Joshua and Wilder can rightly lock horns to revive their careers, offering the fans a high voltage heavyweight feast. Furthermore, Mike Tyson is completely favoring the matchup and has already predicted how the clash can appear if put into display.

In a chat with Club Shay Shay, ‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’ talked about AJ vs. Wilder and envisioned a potential slugfest incoming.

Mike Tyson said, “I would love to see that fight. Yes!”

“They are going to be swinging, there ain’t gonna be much style. They are going to be swinging.”

Wilder and Joshua have reflected themselves as heavy knockout artists, amassing almost all of their wins via KOs. Therefore, it will be an intriguing affair to see them lock horns. Besides, Mike Tyson isn’t the only boxer to have pitched for the fight.

Unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has also voiced for it. However, he has backed his former rival Deontay Wilder to have easy work on Anthony Joshua. Turning to social media, ‘The Gypsy King’ had envisioned Wilder beating AJ within three rounds on a potential scrap.

Well, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder are still miles away from locking horns. AJ is reportedly looking forward to re-matching Oleksandr Usyk for his lost heavyweight belts. Meanwhile, Wilder can hang up his gloves at this stage, which leaves little lifeline left to the possible fight between him and Joshua.

42-2-1 as a professional, Wilder has lost only to Tyson Fury and has earned 41 of his 42 wins via stoppage. He is in a suitable position to stage another run towards the world title. However, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ believes he can achieve more than he had dreamed about. He is a self-made multi-millionaire and has cemented his name in the history of heavyweight boxing, already. All these factors justify his decision to retire.

But Wilder can intensify the scene by remaining active. The current heavyweight division is blooming with big names and hard hitters. So, Wilder’s resurrection will be thrilling to the whole unit, especially for the heavyweight boxing fans.
