Mike Tyson‘s podcast has become a place to learn new things. The former heavyweight champion has now become a renowned podcast host. And even though this is a move not many people expected from the former champion, the fans have turned out to love the episodes from the podcast. The knowledge and experiences the 56-year-old shares with his fans are one of the major reasons for its popularity. And, in a recent episode, things took a dark turn when Tyson and his guest shared a rather distressing fact about the high number of suicides in certain European countries. They also talked about the reason these countries witness high rates of suicides as well.
For the recent episode of his podcast, Tyson was joined by Colombian singer and songwriter J Balvin where the former shared his personal experiences while talking about these countries, and what could be the reason for such scary statistics.
Mike Tyson on high suicide rates

Balvin started the discussion on the podcast – talking about the high suicide rates in Sweden. And he claimed that the ever-climbing suicide rates can be due to “no expectations.” from its citizens. The singer went on to discuss how the government in Sweden takes care of its population, and the basic facilities are free to access for its citizens.
Balvin said, “There’s no reason why you would want to wake up and do what.” He further added, “That’s how balance have to be there one way or the other. I really study about mental health, and that’s one of the reason why that happens.”
Belvin is possibly hinting at the popular phrase “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop” which might be the cause for depression among its citizens.
Tyson pitched in and talked about another phenomenon in these European counties. He said, “In countries, they have these white nights. where they feel like this all day long.”

He further revealed how there would be bright nights six times a month. And he shared the time he himself personally witness it while in Finland.
Talking about Finland, Tyson further revealed that there were a very high number of alcoholics and suicide cases. He further shared that the natural phenomenon could be a reason for the increasing number of suicides and alcoholics in these countries.

Balvin also shared his experience in Iceland, and how he noted the same phenomenon, regarding “white nights” in the country. What do you think about Mike Tyson’s claims about these countries? Do you agree with those claims?
