Tyson is currently in an ongoing battle with Hulu, which is releasing a series based on Tyson’s life. ‘Iron Mike’ has accused Hulu of not involving him in the production and not paying him his share. Tyson has stated that the show was ‘unauthorized’ and also called them ‘slave master’.
However, the show’s creator Steven Rogers stated that the filmmakers couldn’t talk to Tyson because “his life rights were already taken” by a different project. Rogers went on to point out the benefits of an unauthorized take on the athlete’s life. He said he liked to have more than one viewpoint to capture Tyson’s whole story.
