The Netflix-exclusive fight shattered records, reportedly surpassing Canelo Alvarez’s $9 million gate revenue record with an astonishing $18 million haul in Texas. Not to forget, it became the most-viewed fight in boxing history.

Initially, Netflix reported that approximately 60 million households had tuned in to watch the fight, with viewership peaking at 65 million on the platform. However, a recent update revealed that the actual numbers were even more impressive. In a social media post, Netflix announced, “Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson makes history with over 108 million LIVE global viewers!”

The statement continued, “It’s the most-streamed global sporting event ever, and Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 2 is the most-watched professional women’s sports event in U.S. history.”

After the post, Tyson took to his Instagram story to share the update with his followers, while Jake Paul’s girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam commented on the post from Netflix, “👏👏👏👏👏👏,” celebrating yet another milestone. It’s also worth mentioning that Netflix faced numerous streaming issues during the live event, which affected many across the globe. 

Nonetheless, Katie Taylor emerged victorious in her fight, securing a controversial yet well-earned unanimous decision. Similarly, Jake Paul clinched a unanimous decision win over Mike Tyson. That said, Paul seems to have received a fight callout from a legitimate and more importantly, active heavyweight because of his last fight. 

After the Mike Tyson fight, Jake Paul gets a fight offer from current heavyweight champion

The main issue most people have with Paul’s career is he seems to be fighting old and out-of-prime fighters, including Mike Tyson, who is 58. However, it appears ‘The Problem Child’ has received a fight offer from the IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois himself. Earlier today on his Instagram story, Paul revealed the news. But the question is, did he accept the challenge? 

Paul shared a screen grab of a text exchange with whom appeared to be ‘DDD.’ In the picture, Dubois had written, “Good business on the weekend but how would you feel fighting for the legitimate heavyweight championship of the world this is Daniel Dubois calling you out let’s get it on.” Responding to the text, Paul asked Dubois to “Get in Line.”
