Is Jake Paul biting off more than he can chew by challenging the legendary Mike Tyson?

Everyone knew that this was going to happen, and it was just a matter of time before either Jake Paul or Mike Tyson crossed the line in the buildup for their upcoming fight. The duo is ready to face each other in less than two weeks on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

Over the past few months, both Paul and Tyson have promised to knock each other out in front of the expected 90,000 crowd. The pair have been involved in mind games and trash talks since the start and are trying to one-up each other. But it looks like the Baddest Man on the Planet has crossed the line while he tried to remind Jake Paul who the latter is stepping into the ring with.

While talking to talkSPORT, Tyson stated that he was ready to finish Jake Paul in the ring. He is not going to show any mercy to The Problem Child and issued a stern warning to the YouTuber turned b0xer. The 58-year-old stated, “I have to catch him and slaughter him. No [I don’t fear for him] because he stepped into the ring.” According to the youngest heavyweight champion in history, Paul knows exactly what he is getting into and there is no place for sympathy despite him being a YouTuber.

The Brooklyn native then invoked his mother and stated, “If my mother steps into the ring, she has a problem with me. Don’t go in the ring if you don’t want that problem.” He implied that, in the ring, he is a different person altogether and does not care who is in front of him. For him, his opponent has already made the choice of facing him and now whatever happens is all but fair. He is only concerned about finishing the job. In this case, finishing Jake Paul. It is to be noted that Tyson shares a very complex relationship with his mother, Lorna Mae Smith Tyson.

Growing up in a challenging environment, the pair never shared a typical mother-son relationship. Sadly, Smith passed away in 1982 from cancer when Tyson was just 16. While speaking about her, Tyson recalled in an interview years ago, “I never saw my mother happy with me and proud of me for doing something. She only knew me as being a wild kid running the streets.” However, when it comes to trash-talking his opponents, it seems, all is fair for Mike Tyson.

Right after the question, speaking on the magnitude of the big fight on November 15, Tyson revealed that he was aware of the stakes involved in his cross-generational bout.

“That’s why I do these things that I want to be the biggest fighter in the history of fighting. That’s just my goal in life,” he added while speaking to the host at talksport. He talked about how he wanted to be remembered for the things he does inside the ring and stated, “I want to be the biggest fighter since the beginning of the life.” Tyson further mentioned that he is doing all this for the love of the sport which, for him, “never goes away.”

The 58-year-old has made it evident several times how much he hates Jake Paul and wants to defeat the latter desperately. He once again called out the YouTuber turned-boxer and termed him “delusional” while issuing a stern warning.

Later in the interview, Mike Tyson continued to belittle Jake Paul and stated that the latter believed in his lies. The former world champion predicted that El Gallo was going to fight from outside and Tyson would have to catch and knock him down. He stated, “Jake believes his own lies sometimes. When you’re in a big fight, you have to become delusional and believe you’re somebody that you’re actually not. He’s in a lot of trouble.”
