Is Mike Tyson's return to the ring more about charity or reclaiming his legendary status?

The Baddest Man On The Planet might not be so bad considering everything he has done for the needful. He is still working strong for the community with his Mike Tyson Cares, which he launched way back in 2012. As a product of poverty, the institute was rooted in Tyson’s personal experiences.

The 58-year-old is ready to come out of his retirement to fight Jake Paul at the legendary AT&T Cowboy Stadium in Dallas on November 15th. While this might be the biggest sporting event in history, the former World Champion wants to give something back to the fans. That is why, he collaborated with Charity Buzz and his organization to start an auction bid with some amazing prices.

Tyson went to his Instagram account to announce the auction and urged the fans to bid as much as they could. He wrote, “Want to make a difference in an underserved community with Mike Tyson Cares Foundation? Then bid on my experience @Charitybuzz!” Mike Tyson Cares has been working for the struggles faced by low-income communities since its inception. The charitable institution has helped countless individuals through its programs and the 58-year-old wants to continue that.

But Tyson was not able to ditch that cheeky attitude even while announcing the fight. He wrote, “Join me when I step into the ring to defeat Jake Paul with floor seats, meet & greet, and more,” predicting himself to defeat Jake Paul. The bidding war has already started at $5000 and according to Charity Buzz, it can go up to $20,000 for the hammer.

According to the Charity Buzz, “100% of Net Proceeds (as defined in our Terms and FAQs) of the Hammer Price will go to Pledgeling Foundation, a nationally registered 501(c)(3) public charity, who will then grant the funds, less fees, to Mike Tyson Cares.”
