In an interview with iD Boxing, Mike Tyson was asked by the reporter, about his thoughts on Anthony Joshua, and his advice to a boxer of his caliber going through the pressure of 2 consecutive losses.

Mike Tyson, at first, stated that Anthony Joshua possesses an ample amount of talent and he has no reason to feel discouraged.

Tyson said, “He has a lot of talent and not to get discouraged. He only loses when he quits when you quit all the doors of opportunities close you know what I mean.”

Mike Tyson further adds that losing and winning are a part of boxing. There is no need of getting demotivated, Tyson said, “Don’t let this internalize you, oh I can’t fight now this white boy kicked my a**, people are laughing at me. No. He kicked my ass for 50 million dollars or 30 million dollars, I hope he kicks my ass again but this time it might not work out that way, Imma kick his a**.”

Recently, Mike Tyson also sent a stern warning to Usyk regarding Tyson Fury.

Moreover, Tyson stressed the importance of having more fights for Joshua instead of just ‘laying off’ and delaying his time to get back into the ring.

‘Iron’ Mike Tyson then further continued, “I think the more time you lay off, the worse you get. You have to be, you have to fight, to be the best you have to do it more and more and more.” And that’s what exactly Joshua is planning to do, as he’s getting back in the ring on April 1st of this year. This bout has the potential to kickstart ‘AJ”s road to mending to his damaged reputation.
