In 2003, at the Source Awards, during a photoshoot, Mike Tyson came across hip-hop artist Juelz Santana. During the session, Tyson was once seen putting his arm near Santana’s neck and even holding one arm of Santana. Although the incident took place nineteen years back, the clip went viral credit to the marching internet and the media. Following the breakout of the clip, several figures accused Tyson of literally manhandling Juelz Santana, who was then in his early twenties.

Santana began by saying, “I need to pull this up because I got Mike here … I need to justify this. One day we was with Cam… I always get like, crucified on the internet when this clip is posted. Mike grabbed my arm or something and put my arm up, and it was like, ‘Damn, Mike pressed you.”

Mike Tyson finally clears the air on the ‘Juelz Santana manhandling’ accusation

Tyson believed people had misinterpreted his grabbing of Santana. According to Tyson and Santana, the so-called “Choke No Joke” clip was widely misunderstood as Tyson had only attempted to say, “Tell all those n-ggas, you the man.”

At this Santana added by saying, “We got it clear, Mike was not pressing me, he was trying to get me to tell y’all n-ggas I’m the motherf**kin man!”

Well, looks like Tyson and Santana got it all cleared now. Astonishingly, even though it was 19 years since the incident, fans still preferred to talk about it on different occasions as they liked. It is for the best that Sanatana and Tyson cleared out the confusion in public.
