Almost 257 episodes later and a journey spanning almost 5 years, Hotboxin’ podcast saw its closure earlier this year. The beloved podcast run by Mike Tyson had everything you would have loved—celebrity guests, unfiltered conversations, and your favorite ‘Iron Mike’. But since it shut down, the fans have wondered whether there will be another run of the show. Is the podcast coming back? The former world champion has dropped a major hint.

Tyson, 58, had to put an end to the Hotboxin’ because of his other commitments. But his scheduled fight with Jake Paul came as a death knell. He was finding it hard to juggle his business ventures and Hotboxin’ podcast. The additional burden of training had a ripple effect on the podcast shooting. He declared earlier this year, ”

So, when Tyson, 50-7, appeared in an interview with FOX, the co-hosts were keen on the recent commercial success of the Paul vs. Tyson fight. They also wanted to know whether the newly garnered popularity could help revive the Hotboxin’. To this, Tyson explained how he started the podcast. He said, “This is something that’s funny. My wife got me into this stuff. Yeah, it’s not that I’m not that crazy about it, I don’t love it. I love it crazy. But I’m very good at it, yes.”

Following this, Brooklyn gave his one-word response to whether the fans could expect the podcast anything soon. He continued, “Yes.” But will former co-host Eben Britton make the comeback, too? We are not sure. Before the podcast gets a date, you could expect Tyson to see in another Netflix venture—his docuseries.

Mike Tyson: back under the Netflix banner

The three-part docuseries will look back at Tyson’s all-famous and infamous accolades and acts, which made him one of the most popular faces of all time. In the same conversation, he touched upon it and added, “We’re working on that right now. We doing all my new show is coming out. It’s gonna be on Netflix.”

When the series was announced, Tyson told Netflix, “Most people are too scared to look at their lives objectively, wanting to paint themselves as the hero of their own story… Having an opportunity to share my story through the reflective lens of my growth and maturity… will be a challenging journey, yet a very [welcome] one.”

You can expect three-hour-long episodes, which will consist of interviews with Tyson, his confidants, and colleagues, and will give you a sneak peek into his personal life and how he and his close friends saw his illustrious life unfold.
