Former boxing heavyweight world champion ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson won’t fight in an exhibition against Ukrainian boxing legend Wladimir ‘Dr. Steelhammer’ Klitschko even if it is for a charity to raise money.
An exhibition fight between the heavyweight stalwarts would have been a treat to fight fans, but ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ explained his decision in a chat with Fox Business.

‘Iron’ Mike said, “I think we need more than fighting for charities than that. We need to take this very seriously.”
“They’re doing the most important job right now. They are on the front line. You can’t get more charitable than that. [Wladimir Klitschko and Vitaliy Klitsckho’s efforts]”

Tyson has previously fought for charitable events. His return to action after 15 years was for a charity exhibition against Roy Jones Jr. Per reports, Tyson, who spun millions on his comeback fight, donated most of it to charity.
Following the return, ‘Iron’ Mike claimed he would remain active. However, Mike Tyson then backtracked as he revealed people took the fun out of exhibitions and made it financial.

Mike Tyson may never want to fight again
Aged 55, ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ is capable of trading blows and stepping through the ropes even to this day. He proved that in his last outing against ‘Captain Hook’. However, as Tyson is a superstar and a millionaire who has seen it all, he doesn’t need to risk his health anymore.

Meanwhile, he is involved in several more communities, like entrepreneurship, movies, and a lot more. Having done so much in his life, Tyson can rightly remain at a distance from the ring from now on.
