A short clip of Mike Tyson undergoing intense training is rapidly gaining traction. The former heavyweight champion will square up against ‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The bout will happen some twenty days after he would have turned fifty-eight.

In his prime, ‘The Kid Dynamite’ was renowned for his in-ring ferocity. A savage and relentless training regimen ensured that he maintained peak fitness levels. It further added to his image as the most feared boxer in the world. Though he mouthed off a chilling warning, as the latest footage shows, even at an advanced age, there’s no let-up from his end in this regard.

Many have been criticizing the fight over the age difference between the two. The youngest heavyweight champion in history, however, remains unfazed, going about his business as usual. The fifteen-second clip begins with Mike Tyson trying a medicine ball slam. It shows him holding the fitness ball over his head with both hands and then, with full force, he throws the ball on the ground. One of the trainers could be heard shouting “one more” in the background.

The next sequence features him alongside trainer Rafael Cordeiro. Moving his body in the famed pee-ka-boo style that might have sent many a fan on a nostalgic drive, Mike Tyson then throws a flurry of combinations. As one of the team members wipes off his sweat in the next shot, the former heavyweight champion lets out a wild yell. The final footage has him looking at the camera and shooting a sobering caution: “Day 3, you still wanna f*ck with me?”

Unsurprisingly, the video has left most of the followers spellbound. One of the users said, “This is going to be so great… Jakey boy has no idea what is coming for him.” Another pointed out, “Jake may not show for this. No one would blame home. This isn’t some mid-tier in their best day, guy. This the champ.

Apart from the age issue, rumors are rife about whether the two boxers would be fighting wearing headgear. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Both Jake Paul and his team came up with clarifications to get things straight. Additionally, per the available reports, the organizers of the fight, which will be aired on Netflix, have seemingly reached out to the Texas Athletic Commission to get the match approved as a full professional boxing contest.

In light of the latest developments, the fight might proceed as a regular bout. At this moment, nothing could be said with certainty. Whether ‘The Problem Child’ can turn the tables on the once ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’, time alone will tell.
