Mike Tyson, back in the retro era, was one of the most debatable boxing stars of all time. He broke into the limelight with his colossal knockout power and flamboyant personality. On top of that, Tyson’s overall life was full of trials and controversies, which made him an unusual star in the sport.
He lived an exorbitant life in his prime boxing days and was known for spending millions of dollars on buying the most expensive gifts for himself. Once, Tyson even bought a couple of tiger cubs in the early 1990s. He had one of them as his pet for a whopping 16 years.
Recently, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ shared a string of pictures on his Instagram handle. In one of these pics, ‘Iron’ Mike can be seen choking his tiger lightly.

He captioned these images, “You gotta be the champ before you become the champ. It has to become your lifestyle.”

Tyson’s pet tiger’s name was Kenya, and she weighed around 550 pounds. ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ was attached to this pet. Once, Kenya even attacked a lady who jumped onto Tyson’s garden, in order to play with the pet tiger.

Tyson had to part ways with Kenya as she turned old. But his love and affection for pets still continues, and today, ‘Iron’ Mike has hundreds of pigeons.

‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ Tyson is one of a kind and the sport of boxing has never seen someone like him in so many years. With his antics, he allured one and all, thus taking the sport by storm from the mid-1980s.
More than his boxing stint, Tyson cemented his name in the sport because of his antics away from the ring. That said, he still continues to be a big name in boxing today. Hence, there’s no denying that he is the biggest star to ever grace the ring and there may be no one like him.
