At the New York press conference, Jake Paul confronted those who doubt his abilities against Mike Tyson, a man who has dedicated most of his life to boxing unlike ‘The Problem Child’ who debuted only four years ago and that too against a fellow influencer in the ring. Having labeled himself as “Titanium Jake Paul”, the YouTuber-turned-boxer-turned-promoter declared he would “out-box Mike Tyson” to “prove everyone wrong.” However, to what extent, does Jake Paul believe in himself?

Lately, Jake and his elder brother Logan Paul quizzed one another about the upcoming event on November 14th while being tied to a lie detector. “Do you believe that I will actually beat Mike Tyson?” Jake asked Logan Paul. After a pause, Paul answered in the affirmative which the lie detector flagged immediately. Soon, Jake Paul answered the same question which led Mike Tyson to burst into laughter.

From the very first day Paul vs. Tyson was officially announced, fans and analysts greatly meditated on the fact that Paul was 30 years younger than ‘Iron’ Mike. So, while Jake Paul remained tied to the lie detector, ‘The Maverick’ asked, “Do you think the age difference plays a big role in the outcome of the fight?”

In a spontaneous response, Jake answered that Mike was “a killer at any age.” Per the lie detector, he was not lying. However, did he really think he could beat Tyson, the former Heavyweight champion of the world? Well, Paul had no other option but to say “Yeah“. So, taking to Instagram, in one of his stories, Mike Tyson shared the clip of Jake Paul failing the lie detector test. In doing so, he expressed himself with a couple of laughing emojis. On that note, it looks like Jake Paul is in a world of trouble as Mike Tyson recognizes the former’s doubt.

While Jake Paul may have doubted himself ahead of the fight on November 14th, one must acknowledge the fitness and power ‘The Problem Child’ has displayed. So even though Mike Tyson has unparalleled experience in the sport, it would not be a cakewalk for ‘Kid Dynamite’. However, despite his age, as per the training videos Tyson frequently uploaded, it seems ‘Iron’ still possesses his explosiveness and accuracy.

Therefore, although the fight was postponed due to Tyson’s medical issues, ‘Iron’ is confident about flooring ‘The Problem Child’. “While we have a new date, the result will be the same no matter when we fight.
