Did Mike Perry go too far, or is Jake Paul just too sensitive?

Just a few more days till YouTube star turned boxing sensation, Jake Paul locks horns with former UFC fighter ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry. The eight-round cruiserweight bout is scheduled to unfold at the Amalie Arena, Tampa on 20th July, but Mike Perry can’t wait that long to knock Paul’s “f**king teeth out”.

With barely two weeks remaining in the much anticipated clash, Paul and Perry seem to have gotten into a bit of an insulting competition. And boy did Perry win the competition, as he crossed the line while hurling derogatory lines at the Cleveland native during an Instagram live session last night.

Earlier today, Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions took to Instagram to share a short but explosive clip from the live session last night in an effort to promote the upcoming fight. They captioned the post, “Things got heated on Jake Paul’s live last night”, and that right there was the biggest understatement of the decade.

Things didn’t just get heated, it went ballistic, at least, for ‘Platinum’ Perry, who began by stating, “You dirty little b**ch”. The BKFC champion even roped in Paul’ co-host, Kill Jasper, saying, “F**k both of you all, you f**king f***ots”. And from here, Perry went on a rant, insulting Paul in every way possible.

Perry continued, “Wait till I see you b**ch a**. F**k you. You a p**sy… Iamma knock your f**king teeth out. Look at your loose a** teeth, your weird a** f**king face… not symmetrical…” Despite the barrage of non-stop insults, ‘The Problem Child’ seemed unfazed as he and the co-host laughed at Perry losing his top.

Have an interesting take?

Interestingly, Perry came in as a last minute replacement for Mike Tyson, who was originally supposed to face the YouTube star on the same date. And get this, Tyson suffered an unforeseen ulcer flare up during a cross country flight in May, so his fight is now pushed back to November 15 later this year. Now! Remember how Perry insulted Paul’s face during the Instagram live. Well, this ain’t the first time!

As it turns out, ‘Platinum’ Perry was speaking to Andreas Hale of ESPN a few days ago about his fight against the Cleveland born boxer. During the interview, Perry explained that he is not looking to ruin the fight for Mike Tyson, instead, he will ruin, you guessed it, Jake Paul’s face when they meet in the ring later this month.

“Whatever it is I’m doing, the only thing I want to ruin is Jake [Paul’s] face and I don’t want to ruin anything for Mike [Tyson]”, Perry said. Interestingly, ‘The Problem Child’ fight is not just a big money fight for Perry. Later this year, Tyson is predicted to walk home with a substantial amount from the fight, so Perry doesn’t want to ruin it for the heavyweight legend.

As the fight night is inching even closer, the tension between Jake Paul and Mike Perry seems to be mounting, which will erupt in the ring when they eventually clash. But does Perry stand a chance? Or will it be a walk in the park for him? Start typing!
