Roy Jones Jr. was one of the most terrifying boxers of all time. He was also one of the smartest pugilists to ever grace the ring. ‘Captain Hook’ began his boxing stint in the retro era and concluded his career in modern-day boxing. That said, Jones Jr. got the experience of the entire world, as he fought the established as well as rising stars of the sport across generations.
Last year, he even took part in an exhibition bout against ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ Mike Tyson. Giving his best shot in the fight, the seasoned veteran went toe-to-toe with ‘Iron’. As a result, both Tyson and Jones Jr. received immense applause from fans and boxing purists around the world.

Recently, on his own YouTube channel, UFC legend Michael Bisping spoke about an anecdote pertaining to ‘Captain Hook’. He said, “So I’m involved with a company called Playline.”
“We did an event and in this event, I grappled Chael Sonnen. They did a PPV event where they had Rey Mysterio wrestle Kurt Angle. I grappled Chael Sonnen. Quinton Rampage Johnson was the commentator and in the main event, they had Roy Jones Jr. boxing a fan. Yes, that is correct, a fan.”
“Went out, they looked okay for a round, they made no mistake boom, Roy Jones Jr. knocks him out.”

Despite that, many fans felt ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ had done enough to win. Hence, in the eyes of many, he could steamroll ‘The Maverick’. However, this might not come true, as Paul has a height and reach advantage over Tyson.
That said, Tyson could nullify this as he has fought bigger guys before.
