Former world champion Andy Lee sees the fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua as a great match-up. Having said that, he is still very confident that Fury won’t allow the fellow Brit to last twelve rounds with him.
Andy Lee became a part of Fury’s coaching team following a restructuring earlier this year. Fury bid goodbye to his former trainer Ben Davison and brought in SugarHill Steward and Lee. The change looked successful as “The Gypsy King” knocked out Deontay Wilder in the eight-round.
Fury’s next assignment is a trilogy fight with “The Bronze Bomber”. However, judging by how he fared in the previous two fights, Fury will be the favorite stepping inside the ring for the third fight.

Consequently, people are already dreaming about a title unification bout for Tyson with his fellow countryman, Anthony Joshua. The Watford born pugilist is coming off a decision victory over Andy Ruiz last year.
The win also ensured that he avenged his loss against Ruiz from earlier the year. AJ has been a professional for the past seven years. However, Andy Lee still considers him to be inexperienced.
“I think he’s still an improving fighter,” Lee told The Boxing Show on Sky Sports News. “I think he showed huge improvement to beat Andy Ruiz.
“A little bit of inexperience and I think mentally, he’s not as strong as Tyson,” he added.
Trainer claims it will only take eight rounds for Tyson Fury to beat Anthony Joshua
The fight between AJ and Fury should be competitive. When it comes to prediction, it is really hard to guess the outcome of a fight.

Particularly, when the two fighters are heavyweights and have one-punch knockout power. Regardless, Andy is extremely confident in Fury’s victory. So much that he even predicted the round in which it will happen.
“[Trainer] Emmanuel [Steward] always said, champions are built on the inside. I think Tyson would beat him in eight rounds. I like Anthony Joshua, I think he’s a great fighter and a great champion, but I think he’s a little bit inexperienced for years of fighting,” said the former world champ.
Nonetheless, he doesn’t discredit Joshua as an opponent. He still thinks it will be a great fight. As far as the result is concerned, he feels the former Olympic champ will meet the same fate as Deontay Wilder.

“I still think it’s a great fight and a great match-up. It’s the only real match-up in the heavyweight division left for both guys, but I think Tyson wins similarly to what he did to Wilder.”
Wilder’s next fight will be a title defense against Kubrat Pulev on July 25th. The fight was originally planned for 20th June. However, it was postponed owing to the ongoing pandemic.
