Gennady Golovkin and Alina Golovkina live in California, close to GGG’s gym, Little Bear. The couple tied the knot on July 7 in 2007. Shortly before his first clash with Canelo Alvarez back in September 2017, Alina gave birth to Golovkin’s second child. Due to the bout, Golovkin missed his daughter’s birth.

Gennady’s first son Vadim Golovkin is in primary school. Golovkin has continued to keep his personal life away from the limelight of the boxing world. The 38-year-old boxer will look to defend his IBO and IBF middleweight championship this weekend at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida.
