Jeffries came across a viral TikTok clip captioned, “Husband and Wife Agree to Boxing Match,” which left him both stunned and concerned. In the video, the husband appeared to be taking the fight far too seriously, landing punches with force that alarmed the Olympic medalist. While seeing the man take shots at his wife, Jeffries remarked, “Oh, this guy’s going for it. That is crazy, now what is all of this about!” with wide eyes trying to make sense of the situation. The UK-born boxer was equally surprised to see the wife participating in the fight while wearing high heels, which made the situation even more perplexing. “Look at her with high heels on, jumping around,” stated Sunderland native as the wife ran back to Turnbuckle to save herself.

The 9-0-1 boxer then shut down the video as he wanted to know the reason behind these two fighting. Tony Jeffries was also critical of the husband and implied that boxing like that can result in serious injuries. “I can’t believe he is actually going for it the way he is. Body Punches, Head Punches. Maybe this guy does not wanna have babies. And that is why he is trying to do this. Ridiculous!” lamented Tony Jeffries exasperatingly.
According to the former Olympian, the body punches and the force behind them could have seriously injured the wife and could have had long-lasting side effects. By the end of the video, his disapproval was clear as he shook his head in disbelief.
