Francis Ngannou is plunged into sorrow as he tragically lost his 15-month-old son on Monday. However, he is not alone, as the combat sports world rushed to his aid and offered their condolences. WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman also joined the fray as he penned a heartfelt message for the fighter.
‘Predator’ broke the saddening news to the community after he dropped a cryptic message about life being “unfair and merciless.” He then revealed that he lost his son, Kobe, in an Instagram post. He wrote, “Too soon to leave but yet he’s gone. My little boy, my mate, my partner Kobe was full of life and joy. Now, he’s laying without life. I shouted his name over and over but he’s not responding. I was my best self next to him and now I have no clue of who I am. Life is so unfair to hit us where it hurts the most.”
The former UFC champion in the post then asked to help him, as he didn’t know how to deal with the grief and the loss of a son. WBC head honcho responded to his call and turned to his X handle. “My heart goes out to @francis_ngannou for his loss. May his son’s soul rest in peace,” he declared.
