Conor Benn has been in deep waters since September of last year. In his VADA drug test, the boxer tested positive for Clomifene. Vehemently, he made it clear that he would not compete in the sport before his name is cleared, to the extent that the former welterweight champion asserted his desire to go on a legal battle with the British Boxing Board of Control.
However, in a recent turn of events, the boxer has apologized for taking such a hostile route to the controversy. He admitted that he was bitter and angry towards the authorities and the boxing world. Meanwhile, the boxing world does not seem to welcome the boxer’s acknowledgment of his mistakes and his apology.

In an interview, Benn revealed that in retrospect, he regrets his behavior towards the authorities and the boxing world. Reflecting on the same sentiments, he stated, “I was a bit bitter towards the boxing community, I was angry. I’m an emotional guy. The way I dealt with it wasn’t right. I apologise to the public.”
