Did Manny Pacquiao just prove he's still got it by schooling IShowSpeed?

IShowSpeed has been globe-trotting and making waves, but this time he bit off a little more than he could chew. After sparring with a Muay Thai fighter in Thailand, the 19-year-old streamer took his antics to the Philippines, home of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao. And let’s just say, things got real fast.

In what can only be described as a wildly bold (some might say mad) decision, IShowSpeed stepped into the ring with the 8-division world champion himself, Pacquiao. For any professional boxer, facing PacMan is a daunting challenge—but for a streamer? It’s basically a death wish. And sure enough, Speed got a brutal reality check. Midway through their light sparring session, Pacquiao delivered a stomach shot that sent Speed crumbling to the canvas in sheer agony.

Fans watching the live stream could only laugh and wince at the same time, as the internet star learned a painful lesson about the difference between trolling and taking on a living legend in the ring. To be fair, Pacquiao didn’t unleash his full power, but it was enough to leave Speed gasping for air and probably rethinking his life choices.

Compared to his Muay Thai bout in Thailand, Speed’s performance was… less than stellar. This time, his athleticism fell short against Pacquiao’s technical precision and experience, and that one well-placed body shot made it clear who was boss.

But the action didn’t stop in the ring. After sparring, the two unlikely competitors took it to the chessboard, where Speed hoped to redeem himself in a game Pacquiao loves almost as much as boxing. Spoiler alert: PacMan’s skills aren’t limited to just throwing punches.

Let’s just say, Speed’s world tour of combat sports might need to cool off after this one.

Manny Pacquiao also destroyed IShowSpeed in a game of chess

When people talk about Manny Pacquiao, they would mention his championship wins in boxing. He’s a Hall of Famer after all, but ‘PacMan’ loves to play chess as well, although not in a competitive capacity. Pacquiao’s a skilled player and has butted heads with grandmaster Magnus Carlsen in the past and when IShowSpeed visited his residence, he made sure to put the 19-year-old to the test as well.

Following the sparring session, IShowSpeed made sure to have a nice tour of Manny Pacquiao’s residence, where he made a splash in the latter’s pool. After that, they went right back inside the house for a chess match, and as expected here as well, ‘PacMan’, the Filipino icon outplayed the young streamer in just a few minutes. He even made sure to educate IShowSpeed about chess by showing him a few moves as well.
