Boxing’s only octuple world champion Manny Pacquiao seems ready to begin the second innings of his life as a political maestro in the Philippines after announcing retirement from boxing. He already saw success in his political run after becoming a Senator in his home country. Pacquiao now wants to upgrade his stance and take a higher position as the President of The Philippines, with the motive to serve his people better.
That said, ‘Pac-Man’ doesn’t seem to have changed his success mantra in the new phase. Aged 42, Pacquiao overcame extreme poverty and challenges to reach where he is at today. He was also looked down at by several people in the early years of his in-ring career. But Pacquiao rose above all of it and made his aura reach every corner of the world.

He recently posted a picture on Twitter and revealed eight factors that he believes would be the path to any success story. Manny Pacquiao wrote, “8 Powerful statements for the day: 1. Have faith 2. Stay strong 3. Never give up 4. Be grateful 5. Work hard 6. Stay humble 7. Be kind 8. Keep smiling.”

Aged 42, Pacquiao entered the ring in August 2021 against WBA welterweight champion Yordenis Ugas. He was being favored to win. But Pacquiao felt the impact of the aging process and fell prey to Ugas’ sharp movement. Following the loss, Pacquiao declared it to be his last fight and took a serious plunge in his political career.
