The 42-year-old Manny Pacquiao will step up for a career-defining matchup against Errol Spence Jr. on August 21. The fight will see three welterweight belts on the line. However, the Filipino legend doesn’t see it as the ‘biggest’ test of his professional run. Although he has praised Spence Jr’s achievements, Pacquiao claimed that it is common for him to face A-listed boxers.
Ahead of the fight, both men connected with each other for the first time via an official press conference on FOX. There, ‘Pac-Man’ discussed how he has competed against elite pugilists throughout his journey. Hence, Errol Spence Jr. (WBC and IBF champion) is just the latest addition to that list.
Manny Pacquiao said, “One of the biggest challenges in my career. I cannot say the biggest challenge because I have been fighting best fighter in the world like Keith Thurman, De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto, a lot of those fighters. So, one of the best I can rate this [Errol Spence Jr] opponent.”

No matter what, the fight doesn’t appear to be one where anyone will predict one-sided dominance.
