Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and Hollywood actor Will Smith have been friends for a long time. Smith’s reputation took a massive hit after his fiasco at this year’s academy awards where he slapped the show’s host Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife’s receding hairline.
However, Mayweather still supported his friend by checking up on him after this incident. It has been quite a while since the slap heard around the world took place and it looks like Smith is on to new projects. The Oscar-nominated actor is now set to feature in the film ‘Emancipation’ releasing this December.

Moreover, ‘Money‘ recently shared a poster of the film featuring Smith on his Instagram page. He praised the film and Smith claimed that the whole world should see it. “This movie is truly unbelievable, @willsmith and @AntoineFuqua congrats. The whole world should make sure they see this film.” Mayweather wrote in the caption.

However, the fans seemingly have not forgotten Smith’s debacle as they were quick to remind him of this. The fans shredded the Hollywood actor, reacting to the poster of the film.

One fan was confused about what was worse, having a president over 60 years old or a new Will Smith movie. “Not sure what’s worse right about now? Any president over 60 or a Will Smith movie” He wrote.
Another fan hilariously reminded everyone to make sure not to name Smith’s wife. “Just make sure to keep his wife’s name out of your mouth” he wrote.
Moreover, one fan stated that the face Smith made on the poster was the same look when Rock joked about his wife. “That’s the same face he made while slapping Chris,” he wrote.
However, one fan was quick to remind everyone that Smith had physically beaten Rock. “He slapped the sh*t outta Rock though,” he wrote.

Lastly, one fan claimed that he would not watch this movie and also referred to Smith as a ‘clown’. “Nope. Not watching that clown’s movie.” He wrote.
Although months have passed since this incident with Smith, and Mayweather, seemingly forgetting about it. The fans were not so forgetful as they sounded off on the Men In Black actor, reminding him of his debacle at the Oscars.
