Former lightweight world titlist Vasyl Lomachenko has always been a people’s champion and has never backed out from speaking his mind. Be it his boxing stints or outer-ring scenarios, ‘LOMA’ has always opened up before the common crowd, addressing them as one of his own.
While his country Ukraine is currently going through massive political and social turmoils, Lomachenko once again reflected his humanitarian side and offered love to his people. Amidst several reports of Ukraine-Russian conflict, the boxer connected with FightHype.com and gave his opinion on the whole existing conditions.

Vasyl Lomachenko said, “Of course. It bothers me a lot because I believe that peace in the world should prevail and love should prevail.”
“Respect each other. Love each other. Appreciate each other. If we all respect each other, we will live in peace and the world be a better place.”
Lomachenko isn’t the only Ukrainian boxer to have chimed into the scene. Akin to him, unified heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, has also turned to social media to offer his take. He captioned his Instagram post as “No War,” which clearly reflects his opinion on the ongoing conflict.

Therefore, the Ukrainian boxers are clearly dealing with a lot, and everyone has revealed their take on this conflict. Well, these factors don’t seem to impact the respective boxer’s sporting plans, as both Usyk and Lomachenko are already aligned with their title fights.

Vasyl Lomachenko is on a serious road again
Oleksandr Usyk already boasts the heavyweight straps, whereas Lomachenko is on the verge of regaining his lost titles. That said, both men shall fight for the championships again. Usyk will seemingly rematch his former nemesis, Anthony Joshua, somewhere in mid-2022. Meanwhile, Lomachenko is looking viable to challenge George Kambosos Jr. for the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and The Ring lightweight titles, shortly.

So, the Ukrainian pugilists are on the rise and are dominating a massive portion of the entire boxing sphere. Henceforth, their outer-ring stance in aiding the common people is clearly worth praising.
