Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk are less than 5 days from meeting each other inside the ring. The emerging fight between this pair has sent shock waves across the combat sports universe and fans have picked their favorite.
Joshua has a major backing of fans and boxing purists on his side. This is because Usyk isn’t an all-time heavyweight fighter and Joshua’s physical stature gives him a fair chance to get over the line in this bout.
Also, he’s spent some time preparing for Usyk. In his recent conversation with Sky Sports, Joshua revealed what he did differently in order to prepare for his Ukrainian foe.

He said, “No pads, heavy bag work. Like a heavy bag, lot of sparring, so not really the mitts”
Since Joshua has primarily hit the heavy bag in his training camps, it seems he’ll go in for the kill right from the first bell.
Also, in the above interview, Joshua looked a bit leaner and he might hit the weighing scales at his lightest career weight. Overall, it looks like Joshua wants to retain his crucifying knockout power, along with some neutral weight, to keep his movements swift inside the ring.

Can Anthony Joshua demolish Oleksandr Usyk?
Joshua holds a staggering 88% KO ratio, and he’s among those few heavyweights who need just one clean hit to close the game. In his fight against Usyk too, his right hand will be his prime weapon.

The Brit will look to take advantage of just that one mistake from Usyk, and this means the latter will have to be careful each and every second of this encounter.
With this fight, it’ll be exciting to see this boxing bout finally come to life, and in the end, only one true winner will be crowned.
