Another fortnight and the world will be holding its breath as two Heavyweights clash for a ten-round boxing match. Even though it is an exhibition match, the Tyson Fury–Francis Ngannou bout on October 28 has already made a statement of sorts. The hype around the fight tags along with anxiety about whether the Cameroonian-French mixed martial artist can deliver the unthinkable—defeat Fury in his game.
The former UFC Heavyweight champion is no novice when it comes to fighting per se. However, restricting his skills to boxing alone is an altogether different ball game. To this end, he has even pulled in Mike Tyson‘s help. The duo’s open workout session might have instilled a level of confidence among many followers. However, a ten-second clip of Ngannou working on punching bags seems to have drawn conflicting reactions from a few who saw it.

The clips seem a bit disturbing for the following user. If punching bags drain him out so much, he wonders how exhausted Francis Ngannou will be after following Tyson Fury for four rounds. In the sixth round, he predicts a knockout by ‘The Gypsy King.’
Looks gassed from punching bags – now imagine how tired he will look after chasing Tyson for 4rounds. 6th round knockout by Fury!

Likewise, this fan also posits that it is going to be a tough fight for the former UFC Heavyweight champion. Further elaborating, the fan says his strength could be comparable to that of a boxer like Deontay Wilder. However, the fact remains that, despite three attempts, even ‘The Bronze Bomber’ could barely hurt Tyson Fury.
If Wilder – a legit boxer with power that's on par with Ngannou – couldn't beat Fury in 3 attempts, it's going to be a very difficult fight for the ex UFC fighter

Highlighting his concern, the following fan mentioned that one big problem with Ngannou is that he takes roughly five minutes to fire each blow. For the time he takes, Tyson Fury will shoot off two to three punches. Hence, the fan believes the bout may not last beyond the fifth or sixth round. Anyhow, he appreciates Ngannou for taking on such a challenge.
Trouble is it takes him 5 mins to get the shots off! Fury will land 2/3 in that time so it won’t go past 5/6 rounds in my opinion. Fair play to Ngannou for taking it on!

Interestingly, this user pins some responsibility on UFC president Dana White! According to him, such situations as the Ngannou-Fury fight could be avoided if the UFC compensated their fighters adequately. Two serious boxers could have squared off against each other in place of this crossover exhibition. To all appearances, ‘The Predator’ seems to be preparing for a Golden Glove fight. In the user’s strong opinion, mixed martial arts and boxing shouldn’t be equated together.
I really hope Dana starts paying his fighters so we can avoid this. There could have been a real boxing match taking place between two real contenders.

But finally, Francis Ngannou found some support. This fan, seemingly encouraged by the footage, said that almost everyone underestimates him. Hence, the fan urged him to surprise them by scoring an upset victory.
Let's go Francis!! Everyone underestimates you, so do us a favor and make an upset!

Starting with a one-two combination, Francis Ngannou proceeds with a couple of body shots from both left and right. His tired look at the end of the footage probably led to the barrage of concerns from the fans.
Though a few skeptics may want to extend a puncher’s luck to ‘The Predator,’ Tyson Fury remains a clear favorite to win the match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. But should he win, it will surely be one of the greatest upsets in the modern history of combat sports.
