By now, everyone has watched the video of Logan Paul rejecting the man that quit his job to work for him. 22-year-old Ohio Native Austin Wallace became an internet sensation in September when he approached Paul backstage at the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley fight and asked him for advice.
Wallace asked Paul for a ‘mentor’ and said that he wanted to work for him. Paul rejected the man very politely and professionally. He did not make fun of him and explained to him what he needs to do.

Well, Austin Wallace somehow found his way onto the popular TV show Dr. Phil and spoke about the incident. “I thought maybe I was gonna get lucky. Um, not lucky, but like, I feel like maybe he was gonna say ‘hey come on, I’ll give you some advice. Let’s go talk, you know, and maybe you can get an internship.'”
The way Paul handled the situation impressed even Dr. Phil. “That’s impressive to me that he took the time and talked to you like that. Listened to you in the crowd, heard you out, gave you some advice”
Wallace then revealed why he broke down and started crying. “He was nice, yeah. I wasn’t upset because he said no, I was upset because I messed up and I wasn’t witty enough or funny.”

“I didn’t feel like I was enough in the situation to arouse him to give me a job or give me an internship.”
Wallace originally posted the video on TikTok where it garnered millions and millions of views. Even the repost of the video on Twitter currently has over 11 million views.
Fans had backed Logan Paul after he rejected Austin Wallace
Back in September this year, ‘The Maverick’ politely rejected a young man that came in search of work with no credentials or experience. He just hoped he would walk up to Logan Paul and get a job from him.
Logan Paul is completely right. You quit your job without a backup plan? At least have another source of income from your passion so you'd want to make more. No skills, no friends, no connections, no job. It's not looking good. His best bet is to beg for his job back

Users on Twitter were surprisingly backing Paul for rejecting the guy, and it impressed fans at how well Paul handled the situation. ‘The Maverick’ first congratulated Wallace on having the courage to quit his job.
Something doesn't add up.
I don't what job that pays 100k, would employ someone this dense?
What did he offer to Logan as a service other than just being a fan?
I really hope this was some skit. Otherwise humanity is doomed.— Eno Har🇳🇬🇬🇧 (@Eon1Eno) September 2, 2021

However, he also explained to him why he can’t give him a job or be a mentor because of where he was at that point in his life. He had a close-knit team and claimed he needed a mentor himself.
