Logan Paul is keen on stepping through the boxing ropes once again and seems to have picked his opponent already. A square off against Floyd Mayweather in an eight-round exhibition apparently boosted his confidence in the sport. That said, Paul’s next opponent can be a social media star turned boxer, who will seemingly match his stature in the community.

Logan Paul’s last in-ring appearance happened in June 2021 against Mayweather, which ended in a draw. ‘The Maverick’ is targeting a return to action this year and has already touted its possibility in an exclusive chat with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour.

Meanwhile, Helwani pitched Brazilian celebrity Whinderson Nunes’ name as a possible opponent for Logan Paul. The pair had already agreed to face each other on social media. Well, Paul re-assured it in his interaction with Helwani.

‘The Maverick’ said, “Yeah, I mean that’s what I would love to fight to be honest with you. Whinderson is huge, and we have been having a back and forth for a couple of years now and I think similarly to myself, he has pivoted into multiple careers and the kid obviously works hard.”

“He is interested in a lot of different disciplines and I think it would be an interesting match with two massive entertainers.”

Despite making a name for himself amongst boxing fans, Logan Paul is yet to win a fight. His amateur white-collar clash against KSI in 2018 ended in a draw. Meanwhile, KSI beat him in the rematch in 2019, which was held under the pro-boxing guidelines. Following that, Logan Paul remained out of action for a long time.

He returned in June 2021 in an exhibition against Floyd Mayweather, which also resulted in a draw. Although he was applauded for surviving all eight rounds against ‘The Best Ever’, that didn’t fetch him a win in records. Therefore, Logan Paul should stick around the sport for some more years and earn at least one win under his name.
