A couple of days back, the news pertaining to Logan Paul fighting Anderson Silva in his next boxing bout did rounds on social media. Until now, there has been no official news revealed from either of the teams, but the fans have already distinguished themselves by picking a favorite.

Also, if this is true, it will be one of the biggest fights for the YouTuber turned boxer, who recently competed with the all-time boxing great, Floyd Mayweather. In that fight, he gave his absolute best and took that encounter to the last bell.

His performance was a massive surprise for boxing pundits who predicted Paul would get knocked out by ‘Pretty Boy’. Now, taking his lessons from that bout, ‘The Maverick’ will look forward to employing his learnings in a fight against Silva. But is he really fighting ‘The Spider’?

Paul‘s manager, Jeff Levin, spoke to ESPN about the probabilities of this fight. He said, “We just haven’t got there yet.”

Silva, who took up a pro-boxing bout against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. last month, shook the boxing masses by going toe-to-toe against the Mexican boxing star. The 46-year-old even pulled off an upset by claiming a split decision win. With that, the ex-UFC star proved his mettle and showed what he’s capable of.

The celebrity boxing sensation did work tremendously hard for his fight against Mayweather. However, given Silva’s physical stature and overall fight skills, Paul will have to bring in more than his usual boxing prowess.

Paul is not a seasoned boxer, but in the past few years, he’s added on extensively to his skills and overall ring conduct. Also, as he’s young and holds dynamite-like power in his hands, it might just help him with an edge over ‘The Spider’.

However, the Brazilian mixed martial artist won’t give it so easily to the lanky Paul. Instead, he seems to be an even more dangerous opponent for Paul than Floyd Mayweather.
