In 2019, Logan Paul went toe to toe against rival YouTuber turned boxer, KSI. The duo challenged each other for a pro-boxing bout and this fight etched everyone’s attention.

This high-voltage celebrity boxing encounter stayed true to the hype created around it. Yet, the favorite Logan Paul ended up on the losing vertical due to a controversial two-point deduction. But was this point deduction fair?

As the fight began, KSI was the oppressor, and he went all guns blazing against ‘The Maverick’. He landed some of the most powerful hits of this bout on Paul and had his fair and share moments. In fact, in round 3, he struck Paul with a massive right hand, after which the American YouTuber took a knee.

However, the referee didn’t term it as a knockdown as he felt that the punch landed on his back-head. Moving further, in round 4, it was Logan Paul who put KSI on the canvas after landing a bunch of punches. The referee counted this as a knockdown but cut a whopping 2 points as he felt Paul blatantly attacked KSI’s back head.

The fight continued, and it went to the judges for the decision. And here those two points cost ‘The Maverick’ badly as he ended up with a lopsided SD loss. Judges scored this contest as 56-55, 57-54, and 55-56, thus shocking Logan Paul and his fans.

After the fight, even Paul admitted he lost this bout because of the point deduction he faced.
