The Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather exhibition bout has taken the sport by storm over the last month. The two will battle it out in an 8-round exhibition bout. And while many have questioned the legitimacy of the bout, ‘The Maverick’ has said he’s nervous for Floyd Mayweather.

Logan Paul goes into the bout as the bigger man and will have a 30-pound weight advantage over the former champion. Furthermore, he will be the younger fighter by almost 20 years. However, Paul has explained another reason Mayweather should be worried.

The 0-1 boxer spoke to the media after their eventful first press conference. Paul said, “I got nothing to lose, you know. Like literally, I have nothing to lose. And so, when you have a guy coming in the ring with that energy, and a guy who has everything to lose, as a granddaddy. I’m nervous for him.”

With this comment, the internet sensation showed he is going into the fight with a better mindset, and thus, will have a better chance. Moreover, he couldn’t resist a dig at Mayweather while referencing his age.

Does Logan Paul have a point with his claims?

These comments from ‘The Maverick’ showed that he is unbothered by the difference in experience. Based on his comments, Paul believes the vast difference in boxing ability will benefit him. But is he right about this?

Mayweather goes into the bout as the clear favorite, and many expect him to dismantle Paul easily. Therefore, Paul is right in one aspect since ‘TBE’ has to win the bout. A loss would be embarrassing for the former multi-weight world champion.

However, Paul’s dig at Mayweather’s age is questionable. Although ‘Money Mayweather’ is 44, he has stayed in shape and has shown his speed and power with constant updates. Therefore, the internet sensation is wrong when hinting at the fact that age will play a factor.
