Logan Paul has claimed to have witnessed some major shocks over the past few weeks. Seeing Anthony Joshua lose was clearly one of them, as ‘The Maverick’ didn’t appear to have envisioned it. As a prime member of the boxing family now, Logan Paul holds sheer popularity among the combat media and the fans. Hence, his frequent opinions accumulate into forming some major controversies or twists.
That said, Paul took out time to share his views on two of the prime British boxers- Anthony Joshua and Tommy Fury.
‘TNT’ Fury became 7-0 as a professional by beating Anthony Taylor in the undercard of Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley on August 29. Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua lost his unified heavyweight titles to Oleksandr Usyk on September 25.

As Paul explained himself about both the men, he sounded off on Tommy Fury. ‘The Maverick’ said, “I think Tommy Fury is a little bit of a dunce, if you well, it’s kind of like a kind of f****ng dweeb in a hot guy’s body.”
He continued, “Oh Joshua, Anthony Joshua.”

Tommy Fury is already rumored to compete against Logan Paul’s brother Jake Paul in a potential scrap somewhere down the line. As Fury and Paul have also been in several verbal altercations, it wasn’t odd to see Logan Paul go right after Tommy Fury, which many had predicted.
In the case of Anthony Joshua, it may have been a legit reaction, as the entire boxing world is still in a shock.
All these factors and statements have helped Paul retain relevancy in the boxing world. Furthermore, ‘The Maverick’ can also re-enter the ring, which validates him to have an opinion on today’s boxing world.

What’s next for Logan Paul?
Following a draw against Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition, we may continue to see Logan Paul in action. He had been teasing a potential fight against Anderson Silva, which may turn into reality soon. Thus, there’s a lot more coming from ‘The Maverick’.
However, as he doesn’t intend to take up professional boxing like his brother, Jake Paul, Logan Paul may not garner a response from his call-outs to the elites. Nevertheless, his sheer stardom and popularity will help him bag big exhibition bouts. Could he fight Mike Tyson, or will he opt for ‘The Spider’?
