Recently, ‘The Maverick’ took a dig at Fury and backed his brother to win a fight against ‘TNT’.

Speaking to True Geordie TG, he said, “The dude Tommy Fury beat [Anthony Taylor]. I’d been drinking 45 days straight after the Floyd Mayweather fight. ‘The Problem Child’, ever since he scored a win over Tyron Woodley, has remained extremely vocal about facing some stern contenders. Moreover, the fans want to see him go up against some skilled technicians who will offer him a good fight.

Citing that, Tommy Fury perfectly fits in this situation as the next opponent for Jake Paul.

However, Fury, in his last fight, didn’t manage to dominate Taylor and had to settle for a decision win. Hence, the Paul brothers got a reason to mock him.
