A few days ago, Jake Paul and Logan Paul sent the combat sports world down a spiral by teasing that the brothers would face each other in a full-blown boxing match. ‘The Problem Child’ teased the event by posting a small clip of the brothers facing each other. The announcement came out of nowhere and surprised the fans as ‘The Maverick’ had just signed a lucrative WWE deal and had no intentions of returning to the squared circle.
Additionally, the ambiguous announcement also created doubt about whether it would be a boxing match or some other event, especially as the rumors swirl about the duo announcing a new reality series titled “Paul American” which is set to air on March 27 on HBO Max. The rumored series is expected to give a raw look into the lives of Pauls and will culminate with the last episode on May 27th. Well, amidst the hullabaloo, Logan Paul has dropped a major hint about the event, mocking his younger brother for having “no traction,” on his YouTube channel, and it might clear a lot of the confusion.

Logan Paul: Waiting for this moment
Jake Paul confronted his elder brother outside his home in a vlog, which the two released recently. ‘The Maverick’ immediately hurried outside and asked the 27-year-old to stop honking as Logan’s infant daughter was asleep inside. “Your niece is taking a nap so easy with the honking!” declared Logan Paul. To which, ‘El Gallo’ responded, “I’mma put you to sleep,” and issued a sly warning to his brother.

Later in their vlog, Logan Paul urged his brother to calm down his ego when he threatened to put him to sleep once again—all in good fun of course. “Hey, you think, you think what you win what a couple fights and you’re that guy?” shouted the elder Paul. That is when the 11-1 boxer stated that it is not his ego talking but rather his desperation for the faceoff that he has “been waiting years for this.”
However, for Logan, it is not a matter of years, but he has been waiting “legit a decade for this,” even before ‘El Gallo’ made his debut. He is ready to prove himself and “show the whole world; I’m going to show everyone watching” that he is better than his brother. Jake Paul didn’t take his brother seriously, and he had “heard that from you before” and had nothing to worry about, even this time.
The lack of disrespect made ‘The Maverick’ completely lose it as he decided to give a reality check to his brother. As ‘The Problem Child’ was driving away from his brother’s porch, Logan Paul shouted, “You got no traction. You don’t got even traction in your own sport,” claiming that Jake had to take help from his brother to stay relevant.

For El Gallo, getting a Netflix deal for his fight against Mike Tyson was a big deal, but the elder Paul appears on the streaming platform every Monday as a part of his WWE deal. “You think you crash Netflix. I’m on Netflix every Monday,” declared The Maverick mockingly.
Without paying any attention to his brother’s provocation, Jake Paul drove off and said, “March 27,” confirming the date of their event and dropping a major hint. Well, now we have got a definitive answer as well.

Jake Paul’s Major announcement
With the hype regarding the event pretty high, Jake Paul went live on Instagram and ended their speculation around the alleged fight. It looks like the brothers won’t square off in the ring, but will rather launch the reality series on HBO Max.
“This show uncovers a side of their relationships we’ve never seen, as brothers, sons, partners, as well as Logan’s transition into fatherhood. It’s a raw and unexpected look into their world,” announced Jake and Logan in parts. The series will also feature their partners and other family members in a raw and unfiltered manner.

While the duo won’t face each other in the ring this time around, they haven’t ruled out the possibility entirely. “Guys, everything we said besides beating each other’s ass is true, and maybe we’ll do that one day,” stated Logan Paul. However, today, he just wanted to enjoy landing this reality series that “we’ve waited our whole lives for, our entire lives.”
The announcement really didn’t live up to the hype, as fans were expecting a blood feud between the brothers culminating in a fight. But once again, the duo has somehow grabbed the attention of the world for their product and no one can deny it. What do you think about the ‘Paul American’ reality series?
